Bruschetta (pronounced broo-SKET-ta) is an easy appetizer that is a great alternative to sweets when you are having your medicine.
You can mix and match what you put on your Bruschetta, but don’t forget the cannabis-infused olive oil! That is the key here.
Most bruschetta uses fresh basil, garlic cloves, a red ripe tomato, olive oil, salt, pepper and something acidic like vinegar or lemon juice. This bruschetta recipe uses an orange for the acidic ingredient.
Ingredients:
4 fresh garlic cloves, sliced thin
8 grape-tomatoes
1 small ciabatta roll, sliced into 1/2″ rounds or a skinny baguette
6 large fresh basil leaves, chopped into thin shreds
3 Tbsp Cannabis Infused Olive Oil
1 orange, 1/2 juiced and 1/2 chopped
sea salt
freshly ground black pepper
Preparation:
Add all ingredients except the bread to a bowl.
Mix well with spoon. Folding motion.
Apply 1 large tablespoon of bruschetta mixture to fresh toasted bread slices.
Garnish with basil leaves. Add freshly ground black pepper to taste.
